Instructions:

Before the first use, press the sheet with the rubber side down on the lower platen of your heat press with media pressure for 20 seconds at 270° F / 132° C. This will condition the MagicSeal properly.
Press and peel your DTF transfer.
For the final post press, apply the rubbery side of the MagicSeal onto your garment and press for 20 seconds with heavy pressure at a temperature between 270°F - 290°F / 132°C - 143°C.

CAUTION: WORK IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA and wear PROTECTIVE GEAR (including masks and gloves) while handling specialty printing and curing materials and techniques (such as DTF, DTG, HTF, UV, WTT, etc.), due to the potential hazards from fumes and processes. It's strongly advised to use a fume extractor in addition to maintaining proper ventilation when using DTF powder.
Operating any specialty ink printing devices and materials, including inks, chemicals, powders, etc., is entirely at the user's risk.

To reduce the chances of ink clogs and film warping, it is strongly advised to maintain a room humidity 55%-75% and a temperature 75°-80°F / 24°-27°C.

How does DTF MagicSeal work?

The special coating on the MagicSeal finishing sheet is designed to help bond and lock the DTF transfer into the fabric fibers during the finishing process. This creates a more integrated finish that helps improve durability, reduce the chance of lifting over time, and support better wash performance for longer lasting apparel.

Can I use DTF MagicSeal with any DTF printer?

Yes. It is intended to integrate into standard DTF workflows and can be used alongside most commonly used DTF printers, and other t-shirt printing technologies.

Will this make DTF prints softer?

Yes - Result is a softer hand feel and a more premium finished appearance compared with untreated transfers.

Can MagicSeal be applied to a DTF shirt that has already been washed? Will it still work?

MagicSeal is designed to deliver the best results when applied before the second heat press as part of the standard DTF finishing process. While applying it after a garment has already been pressed, washed, or worn may not provide the same level of effectiveness, it can still improve the overall feel and finish compared to leaving the print untreated. For optimal performance, we recommend applying MagicSeal during the initial transfer process before the final press.

Is it suitable for cotton and polyester?

Yes - suitable for cotton, polyester, and common blended fabrics.

How many MagicSeal sheets are included in one package?

Each package includes 1 reusable MagicSeal Sheet. Depending on the size of the design and garment being pressed, a single sheet can typically be reused for approximately 350-500 presses.
